Jason Gwartz - Director of HR
Jason Gwartz is a resident of St. Catharines, Ontario, a Grade 12
student at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School, and an avid
musician and political activist in his community. As a musician, he is
Chair and co-founder of his school's Music Council, a member of the
concert and jazz bands, concert choir, and percussion ensemble, a
member of the Niagara Youth Orchestra, which toured Eastern Europe in
2008, and was the Music Director the school production of "the Wizard
of Oz", and for "Arsenic and Old Lace", for which he composed
incidental music. As a political activist, Jason was a Legislative
Page at Queen's Park in 2005, has been a member of his school's Model
United Nations team since 2007, where he has served as Under-Head
Delegate, and is currently Head Delegate. In February of 2008, he was
Under-Secretary General for the first ever SWCMUN conference. As a MUN
delegate, Jason has three first-place awards (including one gavel
award), one second-place, and one honourable mention, and has yet to
attend a conference at which he did not receive an award of
distinction.
As the Canadian Youth Assembly Director of Human Resources, Jason is
responsible for all member and candidate communications and services.
